White House Furniture opened in 1982, followed by Uptown Country in 2004. Karen moved the store to Wayne in 2004 and rebranded it to White House Living. Trade Design Resource, a trade-only division for interior designers, was added three years later.

Karen had a vision to merge the brands and services and has done so with White House Designs for Life. It was the perfect solution for all her loyal clients and the area’s best interior designers.
